The Meatery Launches Omnivore Catering
Nov. 9, 2020 (Seaside, Calif.) – Omnivore Catering, a new extension of the popular Meatery in Seaside, is proud to announce it will begin delivery and chef-curated experiences this fall, with a focus on small group dining, personalized service and custom-delivered menus.
With Executive Chef Bryce Hansen on board, owners Kevin Hincks and Gina Nucci are confident and excited to carry on the philosophy behind The Meatery to full-service catering throughout the Monterey Peninsula.
“We had plans early in the year to launch a catering arm to our business,” explains owner Gina Nucci. “Of course, things changed quickly in March. We have been focusing on our team, community and keeping The Meatery doors open these past few months, and are now ready share more specialties directly to businesses and homes in a safe (and tasty) manner.”
Inspired by the local bounty that encompasses the region, Hansen also has long aspired to expand his culinary art beyond The Meatery’s menu. “We are anxious to showcase all that we can do in the kitchen – beyond the butchery, but with the same dedication to quality, transparency and local, artisanal sources,” adds Hansen. The addition of Omnivore Catering opens the opportunity to create more customized menus and fulfill visions curated specifically by businesses and individuals throughout the Monterey Peninsula.
Like many local businesses, The Meatery team has been working tirelessly throughout 2020. All staff have stayed on board, working creatively to feed families with to-go options and finding ways to contribute back to the community’s front-line workers via meal delivery. The Meatery, now with Omnivore Catering, will continue to find new and unique ways to connect and share the region’s artisanal bounty with integrity.
